Instructions for bolting Nano footers to speakers and equipment in place of spikes or stock footers.
A Bolt Kit is available which includes common bolt sizes in either metric or imperial. Any commonly available DIN 963A standard metric screws from M4 to M10 or ANSI B18.6.3 standard imperial screws from #8-32 to 1/2″-13 can be used.
This mounting method is optional. You can simply place the footers under the component or speaker without using bolts.
1 Insert a flat head screwdriver down into the hole on the underside of the Nano footer. Screw clockwise to remove the center insert and the countersunk washer from the housing.
2 Determine the correct bolt which screws into your equipment. If the bolt fits through the hole in the countersunk washer, insert the countersunk washer into the housing first. If not, remove it and set it aside.
3 Insert the bolt down into the housing.
4 Screw the housing to your equipment or speaker. This is accomplished by screwing in the bolt passing through the housing.
5 Screw in the center insert into the housing. Use your fingers to screw in the insert by gripping the threaded body.
6 Insert the head of the screwdriver into the gaps in the top ridge of the threaded body on the center insert. Turn the screwdriver clockwise to finish screwing in the center insert into the housing.
