Instructions for adjusting the height of Nano footers. The height can be adjusted using a flat head screwdriver from either the top or bottom side of the footer.
The height of the Nano footer is adjusted by screwing the center insert portion up and down within the housing. The top portion of the center insert is designed to rotate freely and cannot be used to adjust the height. Instead the height is adjusted by rotating the threaded body portion of the center insert.
1 Insert a flat head screwdriver down into the hole on the underside of the Nano footer. Insert the screwdriver tip into the slot in the under side of the center insert within the hole. Screw clockwise to increase the height and counterclockwise to decrease the height.
1 Find the 2 cutouts on opposing sides of the threaded body portion of the center insert. Insert the tip of a flat head screwdriver horizontally into one of these cutouts.
2 Hold the screwdriver tip within the cutout in a horizontal orientation. Rotate the handle of the screwdriver around the footer to raise or lower the height. Rotate clockwise to lower the height of the footer and counterclockwise to riase the height.
