M\u00eame si la vitesse de surface des panneaux d&rsquo;un haut-parleur est faible, les panneaux rayonnent avec une efficacit\u00e9 plusieurs fois sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle des haut-parleurs. Cela est d\u00fb \u00e0 la grande surface de rayonnement des panneaux par rapport \u00e0 la surface de rayonnement des haut-parleurs. Le son rayonnant des panneaux de l&rsquo;enceinte peut provoquer une distorsion audible et doit \u00eatre att\u00e9nu\u00e9. L&rsquo;amortissement des panneaux de l&rsquo;enceinte est un moyen efficace de r\u00e9duire l&rsquo;amplitude des r\u00e9sonances<a class=\"cite-style\" href=\"#cite-1-2\">[2]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;objectif de cette exp\u00e9rience \u00e9tait de d\u00e9terminer si le fait de placer des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carbide.audio\/product\/carbide-base\/\">Carbide Base<\/a> sous un haut-parleur pouvait r\u00e9duire les r\u00e9sonances \u00e0 basse fr\u00e9quence \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur des panneaux de l&rsquo;enceinte du haut-parleur. La r\u00e9duction des r\u00e9sonances des panneaux permettrait de quantifier l&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration de la dissipation des vibrations apport\u00e9e par les semelles. Cette am\u00e9lioration serait compar\u00e9e au cas de base d&rsquo;une enceinte de haut-parleur reposant sur des pointes de plancher en acier sur un sol en b\u00e9ton.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3>Haut-parleur d&rsquo;essai<\/h3>\n<p>Pour r\u00e9aliser les tests de vibration, nous avons d&rsquo;abord construit une enceinte de haut-parleur de test. L&rsquo;enceinte a \u00e9t\u00e9 fabriqu\u00e9e \u00e0 partir de feuilles de poly\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne haute densit\u00e9 (PEHD), avec des panneaux de 25 mm d&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur \u00e0 l&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur et des panneaux de 50 mm d&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur pour les renforts internes. Deux woofers Accuton AS250-6-552 de 250 mm (10 in) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mont\u00e9s sur les c\u00f4t\u00e9s oppos\u00e9s de l&rsquo;enceinte. L&rsquo;enceinte a \u00e9t\u00e9 scell\u00e9e avec un volume interne de 129 litres, ce qui donne un Qtc d&rsquo;environ 0,64. Aucun rembourrage n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pr\u00e9sent \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur de l&rsquo;enceinte. La premi\u00e8re s\u00e9rie de mesures a \u00e9t\u00e9 prise au centre du fond de l&rsquo;enceinte. La deuxi\u00e8me s\u00e9rie de mesures a \u00e9t\u00e9 prise sur la partie sup\u00e9rieure du panneau lat\u00e9ral gauche \u00e0 une hauteur de 76 cm (30 in) au-dessus du fond de l&rsquo;enceinte. Les mesures ont d&rsquo;abord \u00e9t\u00e9 prises avec l&rsquo;enceinte pos\u00e9e sur des pointes de plancher en acier en contact direct avec un sol en b\u00e9ton. La m\u00eame mesure a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 prise avec l&rsquo;enceinte reposant sur Carbide Base footers.    <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pour mesurer les vibrations, nous avons utilis\u00e9 un capteur acc\u00e9l\u00e9rom\u00e9trique pi\u00e9zo\u00e9lectrique Measurement Specialties ACH-01. Le capteur a \u00e9t\u00e9 fix\u00e9 au bo\u00eetier \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide de ruban adh\u00e9sif double face. Un signal sinuso\u00efdal logarithmique de 35 Hz \u00e0 200 Hz a \u00e9t\u00e9 diffus\u00e9 dans les haut-parleurs et les vibrations du panneau ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mesur\u00e9es. Cet effet d&rsquo;amortissement s&rsquo;est produit non seulement localement pr\u00e8s du contact avec les semelles, mais aussi \u00e0 un endroit situ\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de l&rsquo;extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 oppos\u00e9e de l&rsquo;enceinte. L&rsquo;amplitude et le temps de d\u00e9croissance de la plupart des r\u00e9sonances pr\u00e9sentes dans les deux panneaux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9duits lorsque le haut-parleur se trouvait sur les pieds Carbide Base. Une exception notable \u00e9tait la r\u00e9sonance autour de 150 Hz dans laquelle il y avait une diminution de l&rsquo;amplitude et une d\u00e9croissance initialement plus rapide, suivie d&rsquo;une petite augmentation du temps de d\u00e9croissance en dessous de -40 dBFS.
